People and things of Nepal
Tse Yin, Year 1
I believe that service learning is far more meaningful than travelling. You can go anywhere anytime with anybody you want when you go travelling, however, service learning programme isn’t. There are lots of places people can’t go when they just go there for travelling, there are lots of friends that people can’t meet if they go just for travelling.
Somehow I think the main character in this trip is not the six of us, not the children, but the reflection and memories of this trip. And what’s more important is with whom I am having these memorable memory, but not the memory itself.
All in all, I want to thank all my six trip-mates for taking care of me and giving me tons of support, and I really want to say a huge thank you to Chung Chi College for providing me this valuable opportunity to improve myself and become a better person. |
