Rosa Yeung, Hong Kong
This is my third time to visit a mountainous area, but the first in Nepal. Since the earthquake happened in Nepal, I have been seeing updates of friends doing removing rubble and rebuilding schools on Facebook, it makes me also want to contribute. Through this opportunity of Light On, coming to here, I can finally tell my friends, "I am not great." It is because the beneficiary of visiting here is actually myself! What I did is just moving and stacking bricks.
In this journey, I am very happy to have met many villagers, and I learnt to be “going with the flow” from them, as well as "letting go of myself". The most impressive thing I see here is the daily smiles of the villagers.
